Jeff Leventhal has been serving his clients as their personal CFO for over two decades. “I pride myself on having an organizational and process-oriented approach to making smart financial decisions with my clients. My passion, responsiveness and commitment to a very high level of service help make me qualified to understand client’s goals and achieve them,” says Jeff.
Jeff became a business owner himself when him and his partners created HighTower Bethesda in 2011. Prior to joining HighTower, Jeff served as Senior Vice President of Investments at UBS and Merrill Lynch.
Helping a client minimize their financial concerns is his main priority. Jeff specializes in complex financial planning, estate planning strategies, private real estate, private equity and small business consulting.
Jeff is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®). He received a Business Administration degree from Towson University.
Jeff resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife Judy, daughter, Natalie and black lab, Bailey. His older sons, David and Bradley are currently in college. Jeff is an avid golfer, skier and hiker. The Leventhal family enjoys free time at their home in Ocean City, New Jersey. Jeff is also currently on the board of the National Federation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH), the Towson University Board of Visitors and the Towson University Athletic Board. In addition, Jeff completed several years as an active member of the board for the American Jewish Committee (AJC). He is an ambassador for the Interps program at University of Maryland, College Park a football/internship program, that seeks to get student athletes real world work experience and a head start to future employment.
